I created the Blue Banana Business in 2009 as I was being contacted by people from all walks of life on how to change career and seeking advice on possibility of starting a business. Some of my smaller clients also needed my help to develop their business in a more effective way.
This is nothing new for a business and branding advisor like myself but what I found interesting was I was being contacted by people who had been affected by the economic downturn and decided it was now or never to make that change.
From this view point I created a business that encouraged people to draw upon their own skill sets to help them with their business. The meetings are not formal although they do run to the same basic structure each time, allowing for open and frank discussions, with a business advisor (that's me), giving specific advice as needed.
From it's humble roots on a wet and windy March day in a North London. Blue Banana has grown into an empire, well... two groups with more planned. One based in the Finsbury Park in London* and the other in the Kent seaside town of Whitstable**
