Get on a Course -Scroll down for more info

It is surprising how may different courses there are out there.

What is even more surprising is the amount of FREE courses.

Probably the one we are all aware of is http://www.businesslink.gov.uk they offer sound advice online and you can also speak to someone from your local Business Link office. However what is really great about Business Link is they offer FREE courses on a variety of subjects.

These include: Writing a business plan, Understanding Tax, Understanding Social Media and Marketing your business

Tax Office  http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/index.htm

The dreaded tax, even they offer free courses

Including: Understanding Tax, VAT and filling out your Tax returns

The way you have to look at is you going to have to pay it in some form so you might as well get your moneys worth and get on a FREE course.

Social Enterprise London http://www.sel.org.uk/

If you are planning to create an enterprise that has something to do with the Third Sector why not sign up with SEL. They offer a wide range of FREE or heavily subsidised courses.

These include: Public speaking training, Using the Power of Social Media, PR courses etc

Local Libraries http://tiny.cc/gfFY4

Don't forget your local library as this can be a hot bed of activity. Obviously you can borrow books on subjects you are interested in. But perhaps more importantly there are a number of notice boards in libraries that can provide a font of knowledge. From lectures, meeting groups, volunteering etc.

The British Library http://www.bl.uk/bipc/

There are a huge amount of courses available through the British Library which are often led by the world's leading experts. (often these course are free)

Conclusion

All of  the above have two things in common there is an opportunity to learn something new and you never know when it might come in handy. Secondly you are meeting new people who could turn out to be beneficial to your business

What do you have to loose it's FREE.

Thank you for another great article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of presentation. Congratulations on a job well done.
